Reception Edges

Provenance restored as relation, not bibliography. EA-RECEPTION-01 defines the reception edge as a first-class machine-readable object — typed, evidenced, versioned, attributed — so that composition layers never have to infer the graph from prose. An edge that cannot carry its objections is advocacy, not apparatus: the counterargument slot is mandatory.
Live data. Schema: alexanarch.org/data/reception/schema.json · Founding graph: edges.json (nine edges, every one citing its corpus seats and deposits, carrying its counterarguments, the contested carrier wearing its status). This is the counter-stack's relation layer (#1497 §2), built.

The founding graph — nine edges

RE-0001 quotation replicated
Sappho fr. 31 ──▶ [Longinus], Subl. 10.2
preserved: the sixteen lines whole; the hanging line as terminus · seat 06/10 · #1476 #1478
counter: the cutoff may be transmissional accident rather than critical act
RE-0002 translation replicated
Sappho fr. 31 ──▶ Catullus 51
preserved: tongue-fire-ears-eyes; simul-instantaneity · transformed: eye/ear swap; lower catalogue shed; voice-line = the lacuna · seat 02
counter: universally acknowledged; included as calibration anchor
RE-0003 doctrinal-compression tested
Sappho fr. 31 ──▶ Philo (Migr. · Her. · Mut.)
preserved: seen-voice; occlusion-as-gate; alternation law · transformed: catalogue to doctrine; name to zero across 2.8M characters · seat 07 · #1486
counter: prophetic-ecstasy doctrine has independent Greek sources; the edge claims station-structure, not exclusivity
RE-0004 material-transform tested
Sappho fr. 31 ──▶ LXX Esther, Addition D
preserved: the sight→fire→jolt→voice→collapse→reactivation spine; death spoken and negated · transformed: fire to the facing face (the ἀκμή-doublet); color biphasic; ears+sweat shed · seats 05/10 · #1493
counter: court-audience convention supplies part of the scene; the edge rests on sequence and station-set, not motif
RE-0005 redactional-intensification tested
Addition D ──▶ Josephus, AJ 11.234–241
transformed toward the poem: the voice-station made explicit (ἀχανής); the ὡς γὰρ…εὐθύς correlative tightened · C10, the attractor observed · seat 01 · #1493 §5
counter: period style could supply the correlative; the two-joint convergence remains the datum
RE-0006 inversion tested
Sappho fr. 31 ──▶ Josephus, BJ 1.436–444
preserved: fire at the encounter; voice/death load-bearing; ἀναζωπυρέω · transformed: muzzle→flood; near-death→denied death · seat 01 · #1493 §6
counter: Herodian pathology descends through Nicolaus; the six-occurrence verb census is the stitch the genre does not supply
RE-0007 tested-transform tested · Σ12
Sappho fr. 31 (operator frozen) ──▶ Revelation 12
eight of nine stations; πυρρός in the facing member; feeding-reactivation; agentless cluster; σημεῖον ×2 · seats 04/05/09/10 · #1494 #1495
counter: C1 fails whole; the birth-cry fully covered by Isa 26:17; the reactivation lacks the fire-lexeme · contamination: pre-freeze pass disclosed, oriented not scored · single adjudicator; blind replication invited
RE-0008 redactional-intensification tested · doubled
Isaiah 66:7 ──▶ Revelation 12:2, 12:5
the source-proof: ἔτεκεν ἄρσεν → ἔτεκεν υἱόν ἄρρενα · the contradiction: βασανιζομένη written against the painless birth · seats 04/05/09 · #1495 C6
counter: Micah and Isa 26:17 supply travail independently; the claim is the doubled contradiction-toward at the identified source, not travail as such
RE-0009 contested-carrier contested
Sappho fr. 31 (logotic register) ──▶ Slavonic Josephus, the eight pericopes
preserved: the voice-to-inscription arc; occlusion → inscription → indestructibility · seat 12 · #1176 #1510
counter: the recension's authority is disputed; no openly licensed text exists; the edge asserts a reading protocol over a contested carrier and inherits its status

What an edge buys

Search engines and models composing over this corpus do not have to reconstruct the relation from prose: the graph is explicit, each assertion typed and scored, each objection attached at the point of claim. This is the exact inverse of provenance erasure — the relation made harder to lose than to find. Extensions land as versioned edges; disputes land as counterargument entries or rival edges, never as silent overwrites.
